Owning and Using Electric Cars Gives Incentives

Good news for those who owns an electic car especially by ZAP in Montevideo, Uruguay as their Mayor approved tons of incentive for electric car ownership and use in Uruguay. Ranging from free parking, no tolls on roads and bridges and no registration for the next three years.

The ZAP Latin America is based in Montevideo and is selling Zapino and Zappy3 scooters and plans to add more offering like cars and trucks with the new incentive coming into shape.

In California, owners of qualified Xebra electric cars and trucks receives $1,000 tax credit.

Meatpackers sell beef locally at record low prices due to low demand abroad

Falling demands in Russia and Europe for expensive steak has put the pressure on South America, where most of the world's beef come from. This resulted to these countries selling off the beef in their respective countries at record low prices. According to officials, demand is almost zero in its traditional export markets, which means they have to dispose the meat locally.

Unlucky Cows

Fifty-two cows died on a single lighting strike at ranch in Uruguay.

The said cows crowd around the fences to seek protection during the storm when the lightning bolt struck in the state of San Jose.

El Pais newspaper reported that vets at the scene confirmed the mass death were caused by the large amount of electricity, a photo released by San Jose Police department shows a row of black and brown cows lying dead beside the wired fence.
