While properties are being foreclosed every minute in the United States, real estate is selling hot here in the nation of Uruguay, with customers primarily from Argentina, Brazil, the United States, and Europe.

Nonetheless, the government is worried about this massive land acquisition by foreigners and is actually pushing a law that will eventually ban the ownership of foreign land along the borders.
