Like what was mentioend in previous in this blog, Montevideo is seeking to strengthen its trade ties with Iran.
Uruguayan Industry, Energy, and Mining Minister Daniel Martinez said that, in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Uruguay Morteza Tafrishi, the country is willing to cooperate with Iran in the fields of mine exploration and exploitation, cement factory construction, and agricultural machinery.
