Biofuel plants may do something good to the economy, but it also has its share of bad effects. If left uncontrolled, these species of plants may turn out to be invasive species, no thanks to their invader-like characteristics.
As early as today, the Uruguayan government is trying to contain the situation. For instance, it will be launching a program that will limit the production of soy in the nation.
