Uruguayan Rice Yields 8.012 kg per ha.

The latest release from the Agriculture Statistics Department,DIEA, says the Uruguay's rice yield is 8.012 kilogram per hectare, a total of 1.3 million tons although the area planted is lesser than the previous year and only 84% or rice had been harvest so far. DIEA's poll also reveals that farmers are interested in plant again so the previous 4.5 recent lost could be recovered provided that they would have good weather and water supply this coming season.
