Latin America has been buffeted by evil winds since rising oil prices and weak exports compromised growth in the region. One of the examples of how to face the problems and come out fighting is Uruguay. A Japanese rating agency has increased Uruguay´s rating making it one of the few Latin American countries to get a positive ranking. There are many reasons for this success: stable economic growth, low unemployment and low fiscal deficit all contribute to a stable financial situation, and, if we add an improved governement debt structure, then we have success!
