Iran, Uruguay call to strengthen relations

Both Uruguay and Iran have called for expansion of bilateral ties.

In a meeting, Iranian ambassador to Uruguay Morteza Tafreshi and Uruguayan Minister of Tourism Hector Lescano have agreed to further strengthen the Tehran-Montevideo relations and draft an agreement that will enhance cooperation especially in sports, tourism, and culture.
