Going well with global trends and soaring above expert forecasts, inflation in Uruguay has hit a high 1.28%--the highest in more than a year.
While no immediate action has been made, the government has said that once inflation gets higher, it will be ready to implement Plan B, which includes removing VAT from certain products to ease the prices.
