The gay community has been striving for an equal treatment from the government and to recognize their identities. It has been a great issue and debate especially to the conservative and the devoted Catholics who are against any policies supporting gay or lesbian policies. The last thing that one could ever thought of are gays serving the military, but in Uruguay this is acceptable. Read the rest of it here:
