Gold Production in Uruguay

A gold and exploration company in Uruguay called Uruguay Mineral Exploration Inc. had announced that the company had produced 70,147 ounces of gold for the year May 31, 2009. This gold production were low compared to the previous production target range of 72,000 to 75,000 ounces. According to the company, the low gold production was due to the previously mined San Gregorio East pit that was now filled with waste. More of the article on the link below.
